After 5 years serving as Deputy Dean at MIT Sloan, I'm spending the 2012/13 academic year at Stanford's Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS).  This has been a wonderful opportunity to recharge and to work on my current research project on voluntary consensus standard setting processes, organizations, and people.

My husband Craig Murphy is a professor of international relations in the Political Science Department at Wellesley College. He recently completed a history of the UN Development Program, and this is a picture of the book launch:

He is with me at CASBS for the year, where he is collaborating with me on the standards project.

Here are my cats, Max and Minnie the Who (known as "the Who"):

The Who is polydactyl. Notice her big paws!

Both of them are with us this year at CASBS.
